Older People and those with Physical Disabilities
The regional Older People's Programme
The National Service Framework for Older People means major changes in the way in which services are delivered for older people with mental health needs. We must root out age discrimination within services, and all agencies must work in partnership to ensure that older people and their carers have their needs met in an integrated way. For detailed information on the CSIP National Older Peoples Mental Health(OPMH) Programme visit the OPMH website
Our programme leads in the North East, Debbie Smith and Yorkshire & Humber, Sally Rogers, work with key stakeholders to agree the best way to support networks and organisations to improve services for older people and their carers.
